New accounts on iPhone are created with Sign in with Apple. Apple may share your name (on first sign-in only) and email address (which may be a private relay address). We also store your preferred currency and opening bankroll when you set them. Email and password login remains available for existing accounts only — we no longer offer email sign-up. You may use parts of the app as a guest without an account; bet data saved while signed in is linked to your account.

We do not receive or store your Apple ID password. Authentication is handled by Apple and our auth provider.

When you log a bet or manage your bankroll we collect details you enter or confirm: sport, event name, bet type, bookmaker, odds, stake amount, result, profit/loss, opening bankroll, bookmaker balances, and reconciliation adjustments. This data is stored against your account so you can track your bankroll over time.

When you use Upload, you may grant permission to read a screenshot from your photo library on your device. We do not collect or store your photos. Only the bet details you review and save are transmitted and stored on our servers.

We collect product analytics (screen views, feature interactions, and crash reports) via a third-party analytics service. When you are signed in, these events are linked to an internal user ID — not your email or name in the analytics tool. Before sign-in, limited anonymous usage data may be collected on your device. We do not sell this data or use it for cross-app advertising.

Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and verified by a subscription management service. We receive confirmation of your entitlement status but do not store payment card details.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your betting data for advertising purposes.

PuntWise relies on third-party services to function. These services process only the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Your data is stored securely in Australia using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is controlled so that only your authenticated account can read or modify your records.

Bet records you delete in the app are soft-deleted (marked with a deletion timestamp) and excluded from all views. They are permanently removed when you delete your account.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible and removes your profile, all betting records, and your email address from our database.

Analytics events are retained by our analytics provider according to their retention policy. Events from signed-in sessions are linked to your internal user ID until you sign out or delete your account.

PuntWise is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes we will attempt to notify you within the app.
